Maddie, age 10, has been carrying her guitar back and forth to lessons in a garbage bag. "Not the way to treat an instrument," she says. With some material donated from her aunt, she spent a couple of days last week sewing a custom guitar case, complete with pocket for her music book and a crocheted holder for her pick.
